RAM Aviation, Space & Defense is a manufacturer of quality products for the Aerospace, Military, and Commercial markets. We are located in beautiful St. George, UT.

Some of our customers include the US military, NASA and the USPS. Here at RAM, we provide several buyers across the nation with our precise and high quality solenoids and valves. Currently we are searching for a IT Helpdesk Technician where you will be hands-on and be given opportunities to grow. Provide technical support and assistance, whether on the phone, in person, or remotely, related to computer systems, hardware, and software. Respond to employee queries to provide technical assistance and support, and maintain and repair computer work stations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of PC hardware and the ability to build a completed workstation from component parts, and repair existing machines
  • Proficient with Windows operating systems and software
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills and technical ability
  • Solid knowledge of computer peripherals
  • Ability to multitask and manage prioritization of tasks
  • Ability to climb ladders occasionally
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally

Duties & Responsibilities

Handle help desk tickets including:

  • Computer hardware/software trouble shooting and installation
  • Desktop support
  • Escalate as required

User onboarding including:

  • Creating accounts (AD, 0365, etc.)
  • Configure hardware (workstation, phone, printers, etc.)


  • Create and update troubleshooting documentation

Facilitate moves

  • Move hardware and network drops

Migrate existing machines and retire hardware where needed

Maintain inventory of IT assets. Provide reports as required

Work with other personnel to reduce cost and improve efficiency

Assist in writing and cable terminations for hardware as the need arises.

Monitor correct use of computer equipment and software to ensure compliance by personnel to company acceptable use policy

Develop constructive and cooperative relationships with users

Other duties as assigned.

To keep our employees safe we require PPE including masks; we clean the facility twice daily.
